How it works

Balance is purchased minus used. Used is the sum of every week column. Flat-fee hours are shown so the work is visible, but they are never deducted.

Burn looks back 4 weeks. Weekly burn is the average of the last 4 week columns. Weeks left is balance divided by burn, or n/a when the burn is zero.

Three flags. Over when the balance is below zero. Low when fewer than 3 weeks are left. Idle when no hours were logged in the last 4 weeks.

Changes leave a trail. Edit a purchased or used figure once a balance exists and the old and new balance are logged first. The check row must read 0.00.

Enter top-ups the day they are bought. A missed mid-month top-up makes a healthy account look Over, and hours logged to the wrong client make two balances wrong at once.

Print shows the overview and the change log. The weekly grid and the log stay in this browser.
