Resolved means gone from the list, not fixed. A row can leave the queue because someone fixed it, because it cleared on its own, or because the view changed. Check each one before you log it as fixed.

How it works

Match on ID plus date. Display names drift between exports. The ID does not. A row with the same ID and date in both lists is the same item.

Four buckets. Same key, same detail: carried. Same key, changed detail: updated. Only today: new. Only yesterday: resolved.

Count before you work. Say the four counts out loud first. Any carried row older than two days needs a written reason it is still open.

Compare like with like. Check the baseline's date, and paste the same view both days. A filtered list against a full one invents resolved rows.

Save today's list as tomorrow's baseline. The diff is only as good as the copy you compare against.

Pairs with the Exception Email Builder: diff the queue first, then write to the people on it. Everything saves in this browser only.
